Our Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) program is a system comprised of hardware, software, data, operational policies and procedures that provides a comprehensive system where video surveillance, computer aided dispatch (CAD), Geographical information systems (GIS) call taking and dispatching systems are integrated to enable threat awareness, early warning and incident management throughout the whole process. During emergencies, once calls are being placed to the approved emergency calling center, the location of the caller, name and phone number details are automatically transmitted to the location which enables the emergency call receiver to manage and dispatch officers through the software platform.

Nexus Mesh offers an Internet Protocol (IP) standards based emergency communications and dispatch system. A platform that allows for revolutionary, “IP based” access and services for emergency response professionals and provides connectivity for VoIP, wireless and traditional emergency communications.

TEXT TO EMERGENCY: The solution leverages the commonly available, native SMS text service provided by wireless carriers. When text to emergency service is deployed, wireless subscribers with texting capabilities can send an emergency call-for-service message to a PSAP simply by dialing the 615/112/911 on their mobile devices.

Text to emergency service will benefit individuals in emergency situations when they are unable to safely make a call, as well as individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, and/or speech impaired. These are not the only communities or individuals who can benefit from text to emergency services. However, the common message within the public safety community is, “call if you can, text if you can’t,” as it is often faster to get answers and help to individuals when they are able to speak their location and verbally provide other details about their emergency
